April Antics @RunCapeTown

Running in Cape TownApril, the month of chocolate & the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon has just come to an end, and in order to balance the joys of Easter chocolate & to make the most of wind-free, sunny days in Cape Town, we have enjoyed another bumper month of running in our beautiful city …

We had our first mother-son team take on the other city with our running guide Elisabeth – Beth ran the 2 Oceans & decided to tag on another, different running experience in Cape Town with her son Josh, enjoying the early morning sights, sounds & smells of our beautiful city!Running in Cape Town

Nick, CEO of the digital tourism think tank, joined Alana for a fabulous Friday morning running tour through the inner city of Cape Town – loads of fun was had in the Bo-Kaap, cruising through the Company’s Gardens and enjoying the views of our ever-present Table Mountain from the yellow frame in the downtown CBD.

Trail running in Cape TownIt seems Chris may have had a tough time keeping up with trail running guru Alana on his sunset Lion’s Head Loop trail run  😉 … but there were also some shots of him working them legs on the trails out near the SunStar!

Lizzi & Melissa were both visiting the Mother City for work/personal interest reasons, and they both enjoyed soRunning in Cape Townme awesome runs exploring different parts of the city; savouring the sleepy feel of a Sunday morning in the city, trailing the tranquillity of Lion’s Head at sunset and enjoying the picturesque fishing villages of False Bay, all the while learning a little about the history & vibe of Cape Town, and sharing their own interesting stories, running adventures & aspirations …

Running in Cape TownThe last & final joy of April was sharing the city with great friends from Joburg … always a treat to enjoy a run & a chat with friends 🙂

THANK YOU to everyone who came for a run with us in April, we look forward to more running adventures & new running friends in May 😉
